No Love Lost Here…

This morning I began teaching at the community college.  The classroom was BOILING hot, since it was the first class of the day.  I was a sopping mess by the time class began… I WANT THE COOLER WEATHER!  I HATE THE HEAT!

So, there you have it…

Aside from sweating profusely (and awkwardly), for the past week that I’ve been teaching at the university, has been with minimal sleep because I’m having a hard time falling asleep.  Herbal supplements haven’t helped.  Neither has tea.  I’m about THIS close to taking Nyquil and calling it a day.

I’m sure you can pretty much imagine how utterly exhausted I am.

Needless to say, onward I trudge…

And, that leads me back to work.  Before I go… did you listen to Sarah Palin’s speech.  Did you see her young daughter lick her hand and wipe it across the baby’s head, trying to smoosh his hair down?

One word for ya:  CLASSIC!

Anyway, I have to take a nap or something before I go back to work.

In another week, I’m gonna need a safety line…

  1. Playing catch-up here… Hopefully things there will cool off soon. At least we have AC here, though it doesn’t help worth anything when I’m outside waiting for the bus :-/

I am so feeling your pain-I bet you it’s cooler outside my house right now than it is in here. Most of all I hate running around being hot and sweaty all day and then coming home to a hot house. And we have air. Master P doesn’t like having it on…I hope I will be living in my own place when I go through menopause…keep cool.

  3. Such a bummer that classrooms are so hot! Makes it hard for the students to stay awake too, no matter how stimulating the content is that’s being relayed. As for the hand slobbering primping that was being done…yes it was just adorable as all get out. Sooo damn cute!
